Château du Doux
Château du Doux is a unique French Château Wedding venue overlooking the Dordogne Valley. Built between 1904 & 1906 and designed by one of the world’s leading 20th Century architects Jean-Louis Pascal, the Château boasts wonderful wood panelled function rooms, a Bridal Apartment, 17 ensuite bedrooms, 8 self-catering apartments (accommodating up to 70 on site) as well as an enormous, half an Olympic size, swimming pool. The Young family (Abbie, Clive, Karen & Ross) fell in love with the Château and the magnificent region 12 years ago. Since then they have invested all of their time, energy and love into renovating this spectacular building.

Elliot and I got married on the 18th August 2018. The owners of the chateau, Clive, Karen and Abbie were so helpful from day 1. They are truly the nicest, kindest people ever! The Chateau is just magical. Just like what you see in the fairy-tale. We had the best wedding and best time! All our guests were so impressed with the chateau and the location. We had the fairy-tale wedding that every young girl dreams of at the Château du Doux. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish and Karen and Clive were both very accommodating and helpful throughout the planning and actual weekend of the wedding. We were very privileged to be the first couple to use the new bridal suite and one word “Wow!!”.
Our beautiful wedding at the Château du Doux will always be engraved in our memories and also I’m sure of our friends and relatives.
